ABOUT REBECCA

I've always been a positive person driven to help people. Perhaps it started in my family's business where I was enjoyed the satisfaction in helping others from the day I was tall enough to see over the counter. I'm not sure if my entrepreneurial spirit was taught or is genetic, but I do know that it never goes away. After years of suppression from corporations I still have it.

Like you, my paradigms about career and money were passed down from my parents who were taught to work hard and save for retirement. I witnessed my father working most of my childhood at a job that he didn't talk about only to be the victim of a fatal heart attack at 54.

I know I'm not alone when I say that the lessons I was taught about career and money no longer work in our world today. I've always questioned why you had to trade 5 meaningless days away from your family for the hope of 2 fun ones. Go to school, get a job, commit yourself 110%, save for your retirement, and, if you survive until your retirement, enjoy your lower fixed income, and express your great regrets to your children, etc, etc.

I have acquired 20 years of career and financial success helping people by selling everything from french fries to million dollar homes. Those successes lead me to the next rung on the corporate ladder which was sales leadership. And this is where someone made a big mistake. I was given just enough free rein to allow me to think independently. Yes, after twenty years on the treadmill making other people millionaires I was now able to use my skills to build businesses, find talent, teach them how to be successful, and motivate them to reach their goals. That little entrepreneur peeking over the counter was reintroduced to the world as was another one. Her name is Brianna and she is the apple of her mommy's eye.

I immediately booked a spa day.

I took a pen and a red leather notebook to the spa and wrote my "My Perfect Career" on the top. And then I stopped and thought about that in my huge white bath robe in front of the fireplace. I asked myself "Why am I asking myself this when every other woman here is reading People magazine or talking about their kids? Why is this so important to me?" (If you've never just asked yourself a question and waited patiently for the answer to come to you I'd highly recommend trying it. The answers are all right there just underneath the surface.) I wasn't reading about losing 10 pounds by bikini season or complaining about my babysitter because I had work to do. There are people like you who need my help. In our parent's earning years there were limited choices. They did the best that they could do and then they tried their best to teach us how to do the same things. Times have changed.

Anyone today, can earn more than enough money to have a fantastic life without being required to drive for hours and report to a cubicle. I am enjoying this life and so can you regardless of your age, gender, background, or location.

I believe that Network Marketing should be in every entrepreneur's portfolio for numerous reasons. First, every successful business owner I've been fortunate enough to know love and invest in Network Marketing. It is the simplest way to start a business out there. And, if you look at this as a business, there is no easier way to get started and get to revenue than in a Network Marketing business. Business owners know that when you start a business there is a lengthy pre-launch phase before you open up shop. If you decided to start your own business alone you would first be focused on registering your business name, structuring your entity, researching other businesses, gathering information, preparing business plans, revenue models, budgets, financing searches, deciding on your product and/or service and its pricing, market research, branding, logos, business cards, websites, promotional material, marketing plans, etc. This not only requires an immense amount of time but also and immense amount of money! If you are successful, the time that it takes to recoup your initial investment could be years.
